Abstract

Urban green spaces play a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity and offering ecological benefits. This study evaluates the plant biodiversity in various urban parks in Tehran, Iran. By employing a systematic sampling method, the research identifies key species contributing to ecological balance and suggests strategies for enhancing plant diversity. Results indicate that native species are underrepresented, and the introduction of diverse plant species could significantly improve ecological resilience.
