Abstract
Alpine ecosystems are among the most sensitive to climate change, with significant implications for plant biodiversity and the ecosystem services they provide. This study examines how rising temperatures and altered precipitation patterns affect plant species distribution, phenology, and community dynamics in alpine regions. We utilized long-term monitoring data and predictive modeling to assess potential shifts in species composition and the resultant impacts on ecosystem services such as carbon sequestration, water regulation, and habitat provision. Our findings highlight the urgent need for conservation strategies that consider both current and future climatic scenarios to preserve alpine biodiversity and ecosystem functionality.
