Abstract
This study examines the role of urban green spaces in enhancing air quality and supporting biodiversity in densely populated cities. Using a multidisciplinary approach, we analyze data from several urban parks in India, evaluating their contribution to reducing air pollutants and providing habitats for native species. Our findings suggest that urban green spaces significantly improve air quality and serve as critical refuges for biodiversity. We propose strategies for optimizing the design and management of these spaces to maximize their ecological benefits.
