Abstract
This study examines the influence of climate change on alpine flora diversity and ecosystem dynamics across various elevations. Using longitudinal data from 2000 to 2023, we analyzed plant species distribution, phenological shifts, and ecosystem interactions in alpine regions of the European Alps. Our findings reveal significant changes in species composition and ecosystem functioning, driven by rising temperatures and altered precipitation patterns. These changes have implications for biodiversity conservation and ecological resilience. The study highlights the need for adaptive management strategies to protect these fragile ecosystems in the face of ongoing climate change.
