Abstract
RNA processing is a critical step in the regulation of gene expression, influencing the maturation and functionality of RNA transcripts. This study aims to elucidate the specific mechanisms involved in RNA processing and their regulatory implications in cellular gene expression. We employed a combination of high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics analysis to investigate splicing, editing, and polyadenylation events across various eukaryotic cell lines. Our findings reveal differential processing patterns that are context-dependent and highlight the role of specific RNA-binding proteins in modulating these processes. Notably, we identified novel splicing variants associated with key regulatory pathways, suggesting potential targets for therapeutic intervention. The study enhances our understanding of the complex regulatory networks orchestrated by RNA processing and underscores its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Our results pave the way for future research into targeted gene expression modulation, with implications for treating diseases linked to aberrant RNA processing.
